Pulling out all of your Christmas boxes from the attic or garage? I am finding things I love, things I like, and then those things that I'm wondering why I've kept every year?
Now is the time to donate to your local thrift stores and charities so they can sell or use your Christmas decorations to help families in need. This way I will personally feel like my decorations are going to a good home. How do we become so attached to our Christmas decorations??
This year, there are some fabulous handmade home decor items available. Now you CAN dress-up your Christmas home in polka dots!
The first item on my list is the
handpainted JOY sign pictured above by Joy's Hope. Available for a limited time, you can also find "peace", "Christmas", "noel" and more. Her signs may be hung inside or out, perfect for Christmas or all year.

Snow Fish has created this unique
red and green polka dot bunting for your holiday home complete with jingle bells sewn into each point. I love this!

Another creation that caught my eye is this bold
JOY fabric banner by Natasha Summer Designs. This really makes a statment and dresses up any mantle or window for Christmas.

For your Christmas table or kitchen counter, 4 Little Pilgrims has a gorgeous collection of
polka dot holiday picture frames. Yes, there are more! This is just one sample. You will flip over her selection of hand-painted picture frames for your home. I think these make fabulous gifts too. See more at

I feel like I am behind on decorating my home for Christmas this year. I have seen so many polka dot decorations in the stores and I always love using plaid and gold for the holidays. We'll see how that all mixes together...I know I can make it work!
What is your absolute favorite Christmas home decor piece that you can't wait to unwrap each year?
